And we sailed pacifically
Where the land hid
Its line, and your eyes
Fell booming rushing
Fast. Come now
The sea calls again. Listen.

We sailed into you.
Sacred and lost,
Divinity rose majestically
Kissing your fragrant shoulder.

And the moon bowed deep,
Your ground, the land wet in blue,
The moon’s modesty,
Struggled to find a way into you.

The bone clarity,
Your touch,

Your caress always true.
