December 29, 2015

We walked these trails,
And the woods so green,
And pale shadows falling deep.

Moonlit blue bathed you.
And I lost you as you slipped into pale radiance.

We moved through these trails,
When the sun shone raging with cerulean blue.

Walking down heat beaten beige trails,
Each step blessing the earth,
Your moon, the stars.

We walked these trails,
Swimming toward the shining sun.

O tell me, break me soft, tell me.
The heart turning,
The hills burning
And my golden earth grows cold.

The ocean tides.
This night so bright.

The longing.
